I love going food shopping here and great prices and fresh produce.
I just moved to Waterbury and I was happy to see the city has a save a lot. The options were great, as some stores are limited. It was also very clean, organized and produce was fresh. The gentleman at the register was so sweet. I wish I remembered his name but all I can add was he had a bit of an adorable southern accent.

The wait is always ridiculous when I get in there. Rarely more than one register open. And food quality is lacking. Good for a budget.
Fresh tomatoes had mold growing on them. Yogurts were expired by a week. Meat was starting to turn color from being bad. Some milk was going sour and few were outdated. Maybe a call to the health department will be in order. Check all the dates in that store. Never going back there ..
