Good food, attentive staff. Much more than pizzas. Wide selection of entrees. Good pricing. Peter, owner, pays great attention to quality. Definitely worth a stop.
First time here and never coming back. Service was awful. We waited 15 minutes from being seated to even get a drink order in, waited another 30 for our food when the place wasn’t busy. All of our silverware was dirty and when we asked for a new setting, those were dirty as well with stuck on food leftover. When the waitress finally brought our drinks and salads over, she claimed she brought “fresh baked bread” to us, which tasted like straight from the bag Wonderbread that they got from the grocery store across the street. I ordered the baked lasagna, which had no flavor to it at all. One friend ordered a pasta dish which was sitting in a bath of olive oil, which she said ruined the taste. The only silver lining was the other person I went with said their turkey club was good. I’m never going to come back here.
Best pizza I have ever had! Every time I am in Connecticut my husband and I stop in at least once. I'm not a pizza lover in general but I would never pass up an opportunity to have pizza here. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff make me feel like I'm dining with family. You'll often see the owner milling around too. The dessert is pretty darn good too. The food is always hot and fresh. We will always make a special trip to Pizza Castle when we are in town. My husband has been coming here since he was really young and I have been coming here for the 28 years I have been married to him.
Service was excellent, including little things like offering a box for our takeout. Food was delicious. House dressing amazing, and the homemade orzo soup -yummmnm. And servings are still very generous. Always enough for a second meal.
