If you have to make a report might as well stab yourself to make it a "priority." Waited hours to to make a report for 10 mins. Like there are not cops upstairs eating donuts.... like it takes forever to make a police report! I hate Waterbury police station!
I've called 5x to report 2 open manhole covers on industrial. Drive and no obe answers the phobe soneobe is goibg to get hurt what kibd of operation are you people are running answer yhe damm phobes
I'd like to thank them for finding my son, who has a mental illness and who had been taken off of his meds by his doctor. My son was having many problems coping and adjusting, and ran out of the house in a rage one winter night. The police found him wandering with no shoes or jacket, picked him up and brought him to the hospital where he was taken care of, put back on his meds and stabilized.
Much better PD than accounted for by most complaining reviews. Remember you are reviewing a complete police department, not one incident you had with an officer who was maybe cranky or didn't do everything perfectly. Considering the size of our city and the crime we have here they do a very good job, and the officers tend to be very fair in my own experience, anyway. Media have put us at odds with police and really sometimes vice versa and I wish that would come to an end. Most officers are in fact doing their jobs to help you and if you take issue with the laws they enforce, then that's a matter for the CGA which it's wise to attend in person if you want to make changes regarding law.
