So....the next day guess which package that unequivocally had been delivered to me, was found at the Post Office??Yellow notice to come pick it up put in my mail box. Letter to Postmaster General detailing incident sent. Hopefully Poop will travel downhill from on high:) Avoid this place if possible.
I am so sick of the post off in general and Lakewood Rd in particular. I live in an apartment building with individual mailboxes in the entryway of my building also with bins underneath the mailboxes as the mailboxes are tiny, hence the bins below for packages, etc. that don't fit in the mailboxes. I have asked repeatedly for the mail person to leave anything in the bin that doesn't fit in the mailbox. No response. I left a note on my mailbox, which finally worked. When I know I'm expecting a package I leave the note. I was expecting a package today 5/18/17. I'm guessing today's mail person is blind as my note was on my mailbox and I received mail but no package. Seriously the mail person has to unlock my mailbox and the note is right near the lock so evidently this person needs an eye doctor. Checked and tracked the package only to tell me it was undeliverable!!!!! Really???? I don't drive right now and depend on others. I'm also hearing impaired and cannot use the phone for calls. Most people work until after 5 so even if I could get there or have someone call it's too late and I never get my mail until 5 or later!!! The postal service is the only one I have a problem with. Any other type of delivery I have never had a problem! I didn't even want to rate this with one star but had no choice.
Refuses to take an elevator to deliver packages to apartments. Complete scam you must pick it up at their office. Waste of US taxpayer money.
I came in twice to get passports for my family. Both times to be greeted by the rudest customer server rep I have ever dealt with. Mikeil was very rude to me and my family and even went as far as her talking rude about a coworker in the post office. Our passports were a process to get because of her rude behavior. I did finally get the passports even though she insisted my son needed a state ID. Even after the passport company who sent me the letter said we did not she was insistent. Her rude unprofessional behavior and comments were ridicules and should not be tolerated in this type of work. I will never come back to that post office while she is employed there.
If I could give them a negative star I would. The manageress of this facility is seriously in need of professional help. Kept sternly telling me the package had been delivered. Refused to give me her name so I could include it in my letter to Postmaster General. Accused me of threatening her.....lol:) Kept referring to the Post Office as "my post office". Enlisted the aid of a big lug from the back who looked confused, but was supposed to eject me bodily....for insisting on knowing her name, and details of the delivery from the carrier.
Sometime's the line is long and their is only one person on duty.
