I went to this Petco to get a pet with my husband. We bought a blue iguana. We notice she was changing her skin or we thought so. Couple days after we went to buy something for her since she look sad and wasn’t eating. The employee there inform us that the iguana wasn’t eating already for couple of days what wasn’t inform to us. This mean they wanted to sell the animal for not to loose the money not carrying about her health. The skin that look like she was shedding is actually a fongus that is costing a lot the treatments. If you want a pet or buy something for yours please don’t go here they don’t even care about the same animals they have in their store they don’t care if the sell them sick to you or not and they will not let you know either. I had have to hand feed my iguana I have to cure her everyday I seen her looking really bad in less then a month that I had have her because of PETCO irresponsibility and the poor care they give to their animals. And the other iguanas they have there look bad and sad not well take care off. Last time I was in the store have to call an associate because the poor babies were freezing and they didn’t even realize the heat bulb was bad. I’m so upset that my baby is going thru this sickness because the stupidity of this people. ADVICE CHOOSE ANOTHER PET STORE.
