I reserved a 26' Penske truck and tow dolly to move my family across the country from Connecticut to California. After getting on the road and only going about 40 miles, the truck blew a high pressure oil line and broke down leaving an oily mess all over the truck and my car which was in tow behind the truck. I called the Penske road service and the truck was towed back to Plainville where I had to spend the night in a hotel. The following morning Tyler and Steven were courteous and helpful in getting me back on the road quickly and efficiently. They made sure that my hotel and expenses to get my car cleaned and checked for damage were reimbursed as well. These two guys know what customer service, and doing the right thing is all about. I would highly recommend this location.
Had "insurance" paid for for my car I was towing on the back of the rental truck, not only did the trailer ruin my front bumper on my Cadillac but then they didn't want to take any responsibility for the damages (over $800 worth) although I paid for the extra insurance to make sure if something like that happened it would be covered. Avoid this place, instead, get a pod delivered to your new place and any extra cars shipped through a more reputable shipping service, you will be avoiding a big headache by going with a company other than Penske.
